As part of Fashion Revolution Week 2019, I organised an intimate one day event at Custom Lane in Edinburgh to exhibit emerging makers who value a slower pace to clothing and textiles production.
Along with myself, stallholders were Harriet Ogden of Boro Concept, Hannah Rumsey & Jasmine Linington. Home-sewer Claire Gawne was also there to answer any sewing questions and provide advice to attendees wanting to start/continue sewing their own clothes.
We also provided a mini-library of sustainable fashion reads for people to browse at their leisure.
If you are a maker and would be interested in being involved in possible future events, please do get in touch here.
Big thanks to Custom Lane and Fashion Revolution Scotland for their support.
